“Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world. There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love. We love Him because He first loved us.” I John 4:17-19 NKJV FACTS Written by John, the apostle of Jesus Christ John wrote it to strengthen the faith of believers (1 John 1:4) This verse explains that it is in our union, communion, relationship with Jesus that love is made perfect. The more we dwell (live) in God, the more our love for God and humanity grows. “God is love. When we take up permanent residence in a life of love, we live in God and God lives in us. This way, love has the run of the house, becomes at home and mature in us, so that we’re free of worry on Judgment Day—our standing in the world is identical with Christ’s. 1 John 4:17 MSG It is living and dwelling in the love of God that gives us the boldness on the day of judgment with assurance and boldness to come before God. This is because love has been perfected in us through our relationship with Jesus Christ. As Jesus is in the world, so are we. God sees us through the eyes of righteousness in Jesus Christ. The verse also expresses that there is no fear in love as perfect love casts out fears because fear involves torment. There is no room in love for fear. Well-formed love banishes fear. Since fear is crippling, a fearful life—fear of death, fear of judgment—is one not yet fully formed in love.” 1 John 4:17-18 MSG “There is no fear in love [dread does not exist], but full-grown (complete, perfect) love turns fear out of doors and expels every trace of terror! For fear brings with it the thought of punishment, and [so] he who is afraid has not reached the full maturity of love [is not yet grown into love's complete perfection].” 1 John 4:18 AMPC Fear (Greek phobeomai) means to be frightened, alarmed or terrified. John pointed out that people fear because they anticipate pain, torture, or punishment. Yet he argued that the person who stands in a relationship of love with God need not be afraid of God. If a person is afraid of God, she or he does not have a mature relationship with God (and love has not been perfected in her). As love for God increases, fear is cast out. The phrase is emphatic: fear is “driven away”. John concludes with a profound statement regarding a believer’s relationship with God. “We love Him because He first loved us”. God’s love is primary. I Am God and I Am love
There is no fear in My perfect love. Live and Abide in Me daily and you will grow in maturity in My love.
You are righteous and so therefore come boldly before Me without fear.
Always remember that I have loved you with an everlasting love that never ends.
Walk in the consciousness of my love and extend My love for you to others so that they can also experience love. For I Am love.
When you live in love, you live in Me.

Dear God, thank You for Your everlasting love towards me. I cannot comprehend Your love. It is overwhelming just thinking about how much You love me. I receive You love God. Help me to always walk in the consciousness of Your love daily. Thank You for such love so great that allows me to come boldly before You and to have a close relationship with You through Jesus Christ my Lord and Saviour. Thank You for seeing me through the eyes of righteousness in Jesus Christ. Help me to always grow in love with You so that Your love will be made perfect in me. Dear God, thank You for Your enriching word that is good to my soul. Thank You for Your love. I am so glad that I no longer have to live in fear because of Your perfect love in me. Help me to always and daily dwell in You and walk in the consciousness of Your love so that fear will have no room in me. Help me ask to love others with Your love. You are everything to me and I am honoured to be loved by You eternally. Have Your way in me in Jesus name I pray. Amen.
